Using Whisky Fuel Can Help Used Car Owners To Make More Savings

A common reason why people choose used cars is that they are looking for a good deal. Not only can you save quite a bit of money by choosing a second hand car but you can also manage to pick up the car of your dreams. And if you are always looking at different ways to save money then you may be very interested to know that there may be plans to fuel cars with whisky in the future which could bring down the cost of fuel altogether.

This new fuel made of whisky is being investigated by the University of Edinburgh. Now before you begin to feel a bit outraged, this is not going to involve using the ‘top shelf’ whisky, but instead all that fluid that is left after the distilling process is complete. This is currently being wasted but wouldn’t it be great if it could be used to fuel our vehicles. So there will be no need to pop to the bar every time you want to fill up your tank, but instead you will have a fuel made from left over whisky. This is certain to be something that will not only reduce our dependence on oil but will lower prices too.

However, before you get ahead of yourself with this great idea, it is unlikely that we will be able to use whisky solely for fuelling our cars. We don’t produce nearly enough whisky in the world to fuel all the cars there are. But hopefully if even some of us can begin using another type of fuel for our cars, the price of oil will drop too because there will be less demand for it. We will have a cheaper way to fill up the tank of those used cars that we bought at such a reasonable price.

When you think it’s time to look out for used cars for sale, you are always better off trying to research your vehicles beforehand. Good research lets you find only the best models available. When your research is done, you could very well end up with a great used suzuki or even a used tvr.
