New Jaguar XJ is Last Hope for Jaguar
Car manufacturer Jaguar have released their new car model, the XJ. The new XJ is the follow up of the older XF which just lik the XF, the XJ is required to make a lot of sales.
When the previous XF model was released last year, the sales generated were used to help bring the company out of it’s financial troubles. Jaguar are hoping that the new XJ model will do exactly the same at the XF.
Tata, owners of both Jaguar and Land Rover, have announced that they are now losing 1 million a day on the companies.
Because Jaguar are using this car to help save the business, they are changing the design of the car slightly. Although some current Jaguar owners have said that they don’t like the new design, Jaguar are standing by their attempt to make the new car mor modern. They are doing this because they are trying to bring a wider and younger audience of car buyers.
They have altered the design of the car by making it more sleek and stylish. Ian Callum, the designer director, has said that the new design is “right and correct for the 21st Century” and they are now hoping they will gain new customers that wouldnt have wanted to buy a Jaguar in the past.
Jaguar have also fitted the car out with the latest gadgets such as a virtual dashboard. This will allow you to change what displays on your dashboard, you can even put your sat nav on there. The car comes equipped with a large boot as well as a panoramic windscreen, all inside a light weight aluminium shell.
This sounds pretty good, however, it comes at a price. The car starts at 50,000 for the standard model, and then the price goes up all the way to 90,000 for the best model available.
I dont think this would really be an ideal car for driving lessons. Maybe if you went with an experienced Worthing driving instructor, it might be more successful.
