Movie Cars

Since ther beginning of film history there have been a number of cars that have stayed with us all of this time. Here are just a few of my personal favourites.

Herbie

This one is worthy of a big mention simply because this one car has inspired so many films to come out about it. Was the latest addition that great, I dont think so but it still made a lot of money because there are so many followers to the franchise. Faster than Audi leasing?

Ecto- 1

This 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor is a classic in its own right and when the guys from Ghostbusters picked it up it became one of the most famous cars in history. Within the film the car was bought with many problems such as brakes, lining, steering and transmission all needed a bit of work. Not to mention mufflers and a small bit of wiring. Of course they must have had some serious bad credit car leasing.

Batmobile

The original 1954 Lincoln Futura came with a special bat-phone and bat-turbine and after being made famous in the television series they couldn’t not include it in the film so they did and I have to say this is by far the bets bat vehicle ever made purely because it’s a classic.

De Lorean

This has to be not only one of my favourite cars of all time but Back To The Future is and always will be my favourite movie of all time. It is just one of those movies that I grew up watching and still to this day I could watch it over and over again and never get bored. The car certainly helped this movie gain the reputation it deserved, the cast were brilliant and the car just pushed it all foward.

Cheap lease cars these most certainly are not and if you haven’t seen these films, what are you doing with your life?!
